FAQ about Accommodation at Lake Lipno

If you cancel your reservation, the following fixed cancellation fees apply, depending on how long before your scheduled arrival the stay is canceled:

• 30% of the total price of the stay if canceled less than 30 days before arrival,
• 50% of the total price of the stay if canceled less than 14 days before arrival,
• 75% of the total price of the stay if canceled less than 7 days before arrival,
• 100% of the total price of the stay if canceled less than 1 day before arrival

If your travel plans are uncertain, we recommend taking out travel insurance that may cover the costs associated with canceling your stay.

Yes, we fully support payments through FKSP (the Czech Fund for Cultural and Social Needs). We will be happy to issue an invoice directly to your employer.

To request an invoice, email us at info@lipnohome.cz and include your employer's billing details (organization name, company registration number, VAT number, any other invoicing requirements and a contact email address). Once agreed, we will prepare the invoice according to your employer's requirements and send it for payment.

Yes. In accordance with current legislation, a local tourist tax is charged and paid by us to the municipality of Lipno nad Vltavou.

The current rate is CZK 50 per adult per night. Children and young people under 18 are exempt from this tax.

The amount is set and may be amended by a generally binding ordinance of the municipality of Lipno nad Vltavou, so it may change from year to year. The current rate and related conditions are available on the municipality's official website.

When you book accommodation through www.lipnohome.cz, the local tourist tax is automatically included in the total reservation price. You therefore do not need to pay it separately on arrival or at reception.

Before completing your reservation, you will always see the full price of your stay, including all mandatory fees and services.

Yes. At selected larger properties, such as U Hájenky House 429/2, which accommodates up to 10 guests, an additional fee applies when more than eight guests are staying.

For each additional guest aged three or over who requires a bed, a service fee of CZK 242 per person per stay is charged. This covers bed linen, towels and final cleaning and applies to the ninth and tenth guests in the accommodation unit.

Full details of any surcharges, occupancy limits and pricing conditions are always provided on the individual property's page and are also displayed during the booking process before you complete your reservation.

Our central reception, where check-in, check-out and key collection take place, is located on the main street in the center of Lipno nad Vltavou at Lipno nad Vltavou 123. You will find it in the row of buildings along the road and can easily recognize it by the prominent “Lipno Home” sign on the facade. To make your arrival easier, we have also added a “Directions” navigation button for our guests in the Contact section of our website.

Please note: The registered office of Home Living s.r.o., the operator of Lipno Home, is at Lipno nad Vltavou 103. For arrival, check-in and key collection, please always use the reception address: Lipno nad Vltavou 123.

Yes. A refundable security deposit is payable when you arrive and collect the keys as security against possible damage to the property.

The standard refundable deposit is CZK 5,000 (or EUR 200) per accommodation unit. The deposit will be refunded in full at check-out provided the property is returned without damage or excessive soiling and in accordance with the accommodation terms and conditions.

The deposit can only be paid in cash. There is no card terminal at reception. If necessary, you can use an ATM in Lipno nad Vltavou.

For some stays, particularly those involving a larger number of pets, a refundable deposit of up to CZK 7,000 (or EUR 280) may be required due to the increased risk of damage. Guests are always informed of any higher deposit during the booking process before arrival.

Deposit conditions may vary between individual apartments, vacation homes and villas. You will find the current information on the page of the selected property, or we will be happy to provide it when you book.

Our aim is for guests to enjoy a worry-free stay at Lake Lipno. On arrival, we will therefore be happy to help you find your way around the area and recommend current leisure options.

We can provide information about interesting sights, sports activities, cultural events, restaurants and other services around Lipno nad Vltavou. We will also be happy to give you the contact details for the Lipno Information Center, which provides an up-to-date overview of events, excursions and other attractions in the region.

On arrival, you will also receive a printed Lake Lipno map that we have prepared especially for Lipno Home guests. It contains practical trip ideas, places of interest and recommendations for your stay by Lake Lipno.

For families with young children, we provide basic equipment that is included in the accommodation price in most cases.

The following is normally available to guests:

• 1 high chair free of charge
• 1 travel cot free of charge, including an inner mattress

Cots are provided without children's bedding, bed linen or towels, so guests are asked to bring their own items for children aged 0–2.

If required, additional equipment can also be rented:

• a second travel cot for CZK 250 per stay (including a mattress but without bedding or bed linen),
• a second high chair for CZK 150 per stay.

At selected higher-capacity properties, such as U Hájenky House 429/2, 2 high chairs are included free of charge in the standard price.

Yes. Pets are allowed in selected apartments, vacation homes and villas. Whether pets are permitted is always clearly stated at the top of the individual property's page and in its detailed description.

The fee for a pet is CZK 100 (approximately EUR 4) per animal per night.

At some properties, only smaller dog breeds are permitted due to the nature of the property, its furnishings or the owner's requirements. Other apartments and houses do not allow pets at all, for example to protect the interior, maintain a high standard of accommodation or accommodate guests with allergies.

A refundable security deposit is always required when staying with a pet. Its amount may vary depending on the property and number of animals. The deposit amount and any other conditions are always shown during the booking process and in the detailed description of the property.

Where are the individual apartments and vacation homes located?

The location of your accommodation depends on the resort or area you choose for your stay at Lake Lipno:

• Riviera Resort (Lipno nad Vltavou) – located right next to both sandy and grassy beaches and the cycle path. An ideal choice for swimming, cycling and inline skating enthusiasts.
• Lipno Port, Korzo and Centrum (Lipno nad Vltavou) – apartments within walking distance of the beach, the main promenade with restaurants and shops, the marina, children's playgrounds and other attractions.
• U Hájenky Semi-Detached Houses (Lipno nad Vltavou) – a quiet location in the upper part of Lipno nad Vltavou, close to the forest and a deer enclosure. The Lipno resort and beach are approximately a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away.
• Moon River Resort (Lojzovy Paseky, Frymburk) – a very peaceful recreation area surrounded by nature directly on the shore of Lake Lipno. Ideal for guests seeking privacy, relaxation and accommodation away from the main tourist centers.
• Malé Lipno Resort (Černá v Pošumaví) – a modern apartment resort on the shore of Lake Lipno in a quiet bay near the center of Černá v Pošumaví.

Most of our apartments and vacation homes have a coffee machine, and we provide guests with a complimentary starter pack of coffee capsules as a welcome gift.

Selected vacation homes and villas offered by Lipno Home have a fireplace or wood-burning stove, making your stay especially cozy during the colder months.

Most apartments, vacation homes and villas offered by Lipno Home have a washing machine. You will always find the exact facilities in the detailed description of the individual property at www.lipnohome.cz.

On arrival, guests receive a basic starter pack, which usually includes toilet paper, liquid soap, dishwashing liquid, a sponge, a dish towel, trash bags and basic dishwasher supplies.

As this is not hotel-style accommodation, the pack is intended only for the beginning of your stay and is not replenished during your stay. Guests must also provide their own laundry detergent for the washing machine.

Groceries, toiletries and other everyday essentials are readily available in Lipno nad Vltavou. Information about facilities and services is always provided in the description of the individual apartment, house or villa at www.lipnohome.cz.

If you are looking for accommodation with private wellness facilities, we recommend the following properties with their own sauna:

• Lipno Port Apartments: Apartments A202, C203, C204 and C304 feature a luxurious private built-in Finnish sauna.
• Riviera Apartment 502/7: A distinctive attic apartment by the beach with its own small sauna and lake view.
• Villa Gamma Slupečná 276: A spacious luxury villa with unlimited use of its private sauna.
• Molo Lipno Apartment B201: An accessible ground-floor apartment with a private infrared sauna directly inside the unit.

Guests staying at these properties can use the sauna without restriction and at no additional charge.

All apartments, vacation homes and villas are designed with an active vacation at Lake Lipno in mind. At most properties, guests have access to lockable cellars, garages, shared bicycle or ski storage rooms, or other designated areas where bicycles, strollers, skis and other sports equipment can be stored safely.

To ensure a pleasant, safe and peaceful environment for all guests, the following rules apply at most of our apartments, vacation homes and villas:

• all accommodation units are non-smoking,
• parties, celebrations and other noisy events are not permitted,
• quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. must be observed,
• barbecue rules may vary depending on the type and location of the property.
